What an important and timely subject for a conference!
April 3rd, 2009 @ 10:18 pm
On the main page with 3 columns only half of the poster appears, this would seem to be a problem. Also there seems to be javascript from a variety of sources, some of which seems to be collect information/track users.

Also since this appears to be using wordpress.com wouldn’t it be a good idea to have some reference to their privacy policy somewhere. Not to mention that relying on wordpress is forfeiting just a bit of control over how data will be used. Also even on this page the poster is cut off.

Researching international and foreign law currently relies both on large digital archives and on what the Executive Director of the American Society of International Law, Elizabeth Anderson, recently described as a “think net.” Human governments, intergovernmental organizations, advocates, and experts connect virtually through text, image, and sound by posting the primary documents of international or local law as well as the interpretive, analytical, and critical commentary. This conference promises to make legal research an education self-aware as part of communications theory. Let the discussion begin!

Thanks for highlighting the poster issue – now fixed. Users can locate the wordpress privacy policy here: http://wordpress.org/about/privacy/.
