Research partnership with University of the People

by Laura DeNardis | September 25, 2009 | announcements | Comments Off

The Information Society Project at Yale Law School is expanding its research program in digital education by entering into a research partnership with University of the People, the world’s first tuition-free, online academic institution. Dedicated to the global advancement and democratization of higher education, University of the People is a nonprofit organization comprised of volunteers and students from around the world.

As part of this expanded research program, the Yale ISP will produce new scholarship in the area of digital education, including an edited volume on social media and the future of education. These topics will also be included in our spring conference on Access to Knowledge as a Human Right.
